Advanced Eye Care Technology
We use the most up-to-date technology to ensure the best eye care possible. Here are some of the different types of tests and equipment you may experience on a visit to our Practice.
OPTOMAP CALIFORNIA WIDE-VIEW RETINAL CAMERA
The Optomap California fa was designed to aid in the diagnosis and management of diabetic eye disease and other vascular diseases.
OCULUS KERATOGRAPH 5M ADVANCED CORNEAL TOPOGRAPHER
Using an automated, computerized refracting system, we can determine the best prescription for you. Advanced vision-assessment system that combines topography, wavefront, autorefraction, keratometry, and pupillometry—allowing accurate and reliable analysis of corneal aberration.
ZEISS OCT IMAGING TEST
The Zeiss CIRRUS 5000 includes the latest in retina and glaucoma diagnostics, such has OCT angiography and en face imaging. Eye motion artifacts are reduced with FastTrac retinal tracking, and enables tracking of the current scan to the position of a previous scan which, as a results, provides a better progression analysis.
HUMPHREY VISUAL FIELDS COMPUTERIZED MEASUREMENT
The Humphrey Field Analyzer is a tool for measuring the human visual field, particularly for detecting monocular visual field. The results of the analyzer identify the type of vision defect, providing information regarding the location of any disease processes or lesion(s) throughout the visual pathway.
MARCO PHOROPTOR DIGITAL REFRACTION EXAMS
The Marco Phoropter is used to check and verify a patient’s optical prescription. Patients will most likely identify refractors as the mechanical-looking mask placed in front of his or her face during a standard eye exam while the eye doctor is testing for and identifying vision correction needs.
NEUROLENS MEASUREMENT DEVICE
The NMD2 is an objective, accurate and repeatable way to measure eye alignment. The cutting-edge eye tracking system allows the NMD2 to identify eye misalignment as small as 0.1 Prism Diopters, acquiring over 10,000 data points per patient.
